About the event
Renowned psychiatrist Peppe Dell'Acqua, a student and collaborator of Basaglia, recounts the memorable years when mental illness was gradually "eradicated" and the sick were transformed from nameless internees back into citizens, individuals entitled to dignified treatment. He does this with sensitivity and not without emotion, picking up the thread of memory and offering bizarre anecdotes, propelled by an extraordinary sparring partner, the well-known radio presenter and psychologist Massimo Cirri. Their conversation is accompanied by Aldo Mazza, co-founder of the language school and publisher alphabeta.
