Free admission from 10 am to 5 pm
As part of International Museum Day, the Hofburg Brixen offers a programme for the whole family.
There will be a free guided tour in German at 10 am and in Italian at 11:30 am. A tour of the Diocesan Museum and the historic apartments will give an insight into art and culture from around 1,000 years ago.
The visit is also worthwhile for children: from 10-12 am and from 14-16 pm there will be handicrafts, painting and folding. We will be focusing on a special inhabitant of the Hofburg: the swan in the moat.
